Global Project Manager

We are looking for a candidate for the position of Global Project Manager. The main task is to enable project teams developing new products or maintaining existing products on the market to achieve the set goal as effectively and efficiently as possible with the given resources.

The perfect candidate has a university degree and 5 years of professional experience in project management for the development of medical/diagnostic products. They are fluent in English and ideally another language.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Set up and implement project structures for product development and care, including timelines, resources, budgets, and communication.
• Create and maintain integrated project plans with dependencies and budgets to ensure efficient team collaboration.
• Drive quality implementation in risk management, critical path analysis, scenario planning, and budgeting.
• Execute project management processes, prepare for milestone and capacity reviews, and lead improvement initiatives.
• Apply appropriate project methodologies, including Agile practices, and coach teams on hybrid approaches.
• Facilitate meetings, knowledge sharing, and team-building to enhance project effectiveness.
• Define and track KPIs, OKRs, and other metrics to measure and improve performance.
• Act as a trusted advisor for holistic planning, risk management, and scenario analysis to optimize value delivery.
• Identify risks, gaps, and bottlenecks; propose solutions and communicate proactively to stakeholders.
• Provide planning data for decision-making at project and portfolio levels; act as Agile Program Manager where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure optimized delivery and coach team members for skill development.
• Identify and communicate improvement opportunities within the Project Management Chapter.

Must Haves

• Bachelor or similar degree/apprenticeship
• At least 5 years relevant project / program management experience in Diagnostic, MedTech, Pharmaceutical or Food Industry
• English fluent, another language would be a plus (German is a big plus)
• Google suite, Jira, Planisware or other Project Mgt. Planning tools
• Strong communication skills and customer focus
• PMP/Scrum/Agile Certificate - a nice to have
