A Snapshot of your day
Develop and implement regional channel strategies to enhance in-store visibility and traffic growth, ensuring sustainable sales growth. Oversee retail store KPIs, field force management, and promoter engagement while driving portfolio management and market intelligence.
How Will You Make An Impact?
Channel Strategy:
- Develop regional channel (go-to-market) strategy starting to the retail shop front
- Help driving right in-store portfolio management
- Help developing Field Force management strategy: incentive, training, talent retention strategy
- Development, adoption and tracking actionable Retail store KPIs (Sales, Targets delivery, mix and other)
- Oversee implementation and maintaining of Samsung retail guideline standards
Execution
- Engage with the regional Samsung teams to build the distributor and channel organization capability
- Engage with Promoters, setup promoter management KPIs for the regional teams and create a plan for noticeable improvement of the in-store experience (overall & Promoter interaction experience)
- Oversee creation of trainings for Promoters and overall materials for Field Force to boost personnel effectiveness in learning & interacting with the customer
- Actively monitor & report retail market intelligence and make recommendations to management
- Directly supervise, lead and support teams in MENA market
- Oversee, report and improve Shelf Share, Hot Spot Locations and other in-store performance KPIs.
Presentation
- Analyze retail data, develop insights and report to management with actionable recommendation
- Responsible for Tracking the retail strategy execution across MENA markets, and translating the strategy into execution KPIs and setting scorecard with market targets
- Being able to streamline the insights into a strategy, explain both insights and strategy through presentation in a multi-national / multi-cultural environment Essential skills and experience:
What will you need?
- At least 12-16 years of extensive experience in retail management and or/ sales and marketing in consumer electronics industry.
- Business Development experience is a must; preferably in Retail environment Strong understanding of CPG industry Sales practice
- Excellent PC and analytical skills, experience working with data sets
- Business experience in the MENA markets
- Team player with strong engagement skills including at C-level
- Ability to perform and work under different conditions and in a multicultural team.
- Should have good experience in managing teams of merchandisers and / or Promoters in a retail environment
- Multi-tasking skills essential to cope during busy and stressful periods
- Good ability to work under pressure
- Should act professionally and represent the company with the highest standards of integrity at all times
- Should be both reliable and determined in meeting the demands of the company’s retail display standards & objective
