Job Title: MuleSoft Integration Architect
Location: United Arab Emirates (Onsite/Hybrid)
Department: IT / Enterprise Architecture
Reports To: Head of Digital Transformation
Position Overview
The MuleSoft Integration Architect will be responsible for designing and governing the
overall integration architecture that connects Salesforce CRM, SAP DMS, and various other
business-critical applications within the organization’s digital ecosystem. This role will ensure
seamless data flow, real-time integration, performance, scalability, and compliance with
enterprise architecture standards.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led
connectivity, Salesforce integration, and SAP integration patterns, along with a solid
understanding of the automotive distribution domain.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture Design & Governance
• Define the end-to-end integration architecture leveraging MuleSoft Anypoint
Platform for Salesforce, SAP, and other business systems.
• Establish and enforce API-led connectivity principles (System, Process, and
Experience APIs).
• Design secure, scalable, and reusable integration frameworks and standards.
• Own and maintain the Integration Reference Architecture and related
documentation.
• Lead the design review and architecture governance for all integration projects.
2. Solution Delivery
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand integration
needs and translate them into MuleSoft-based solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams during design, build, testing, and
deployment phases.
• Design integration patterns for real-time, batch, and event-driven data exchange
between Salesforce, SAP, and other systems.
• Optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and reusability across multiple business
units.
• Ensure integrations comply with UAE data privacy and security regulations.
3. Platform & Ecosystem Management
• Manage the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform setup including API Manager, Runtime
Manager, and Exchange.
• Define CI/CD processes for automated deployments using tools such as Jenkins, Git,
Anypoint CLI, and Maven.
• Monitor API performance, SLAs, and error handling through Anypoint Monitoring
and logging frameworks (e.g., Splunk, ELK).
• Define disaster recovery, version control, and environment management strategies.
4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
• Partner with Salesforce, SAP, and other application teams to ensure integration
alignment.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data architects for data mapping and
transformation requirements.
• Present architectural decisions and roadmaps to C-level and business stakeholders.
• Work with external vendors and system integrators to ensure delivery quality.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
• 8–12 years of total IT experience with at least 6 years in integration architecture and
MuleSoft ecosystem.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
o Mule 4 / MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager,
DataWeave, Anypoint Studio)
o Salesforce Integration Patterns (REST, Bulk, Streaming APIs)
o SAP Integration (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, or SAP PI/PO)
o API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, Mutual TLS) and governance.
o CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud deployment (Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, message queues (e.g., Kafka,
RabbitMQ), and microservices.
• Strong understanding of data transformation and mapping (DataWeave, JSON, XML,
CSV).
Domain Experience
• Prior experience in the automotive distribution or retail sector preferred.
• Knowledge of dealer management systems (DMS) and customer experience
processes.
Certifications (Preferred)
• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect – Level 1 or 2
• Salesforce Integration Architect Certification
• SAP Integration or related certification
• TOGAF / Enterprise Architecture certification
Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to lead and mentor integration and API development teams.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and solution ownership.
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related
field.
