Deployment and Infrastructure Managemen t
- Develop, deploy, and manage AWS and other cloud platforms infrastructure to support software systems, applying DevOps methodologies and using a variety of tools and technologies.
- Create, manage, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for deploying applications.
- Automate and manage the infrastructure in AWS and other cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Ensure that the infrastructure aligns with the clients requirements for scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Stay up to date on relevant technologies, understand trends and opportunities to ensure we are using the best possible techniques and tools.
- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration services like Kubernetes to automate the deployment and scaling of applications.
Deployment and Infrastructure Management
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors and provide solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws and ensure compliance.
- Play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of various migration projects.
- Create, manage, and deliver all project-related documents, including business cases and success criteria
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, project managers, and stakeholders to gather information and requirements for migration projects.
- Create comprehensive and well-structured project documentation, including business cases, project plans, migration strategies, risk assessments, and success criteria.
- Organize and maintain a centralized repository of all project documentation, ensuring easy accessibility and version control for the entire project team.
- Work closely with technical experts and subject matter specialists to accurately translate technical information into clear and understandable documentation for non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions to capture key decisions, action items, and project progress, and translate these into relevant documentation.
- Develop and maintain templates, standards, and guidelines for project documentation, promoting best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to collect necessary documentation and integrate it into the project repository.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or any related field
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
- G42: Cloud Certified Associate
- Google: Certified Cloud Architect
Knowledge
- CI/CD pipeline running on GitHub, Gitlab, AWS DevOps or similar
- Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- Programming and coding skills
- Infrastructure areas such as virtual server technologies, Storages, networking, internet protocols, scripting & monitoring tools, and IT Security
- Infrastructure definition tools such as Cloud Formation and Terraform
