Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 7+ years of experience in software solution development within an agile and DevOps environment, operating in a product-based model, and delivering large-scale applications or data engineering solutions
- 7+ years of experience in data science, business intelligence, or data analytics using common BI tools (Power BI, Cognos, Tableau), with demonstrated SQL mastery
- 7+ years of cloud development experience, preferably on Microsoft Azure, including hands-on experience with Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI
- Strong combination of Development, Administration, and Support experience in multiple tools/platforms, including:
- Scripting: Python, Spark, Unix, SQL
- Data Platforms: Teradata, Couchbase, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake
- Azure Cloud Technologies: Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Azure Functions
- CI/CD Tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform
- BI Analytics Tools: Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Denodo, and Grafana
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience:
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably with Azure cloud services
- Strong expertise with Azure Power Apps and Power BI
- Previous experience in the airline industry is a plus
Skills, Licenses & Certifications:
- Advanced proficiency in the Azure technology stack, specifically for data management, data ingestion, processing, and creating consumption layers
- Demonstrated ability to provide practical guidance and leadership in the use of Azure native cloud services
- Azure Development Track Certification (preferred)
- Spark Certification (preferred)
