Product Owner (Remote - India)

As a Product Owner, you will lead the development of AI-powered clinical trial authoring solutions, driving innovation and efficiency in document creation for protocols, SAPs, CSRs, and safety reports. You will serve as a key link between engineering, AI/ML teams, clinical experts, and product management to ensure the delivery of compliant, high-impact tools. The role requires translating complex clinical and product requirements into actionable user stories, prioritizing features, and overseeing iterative releases. You will help define metrics to track product success, support user training and acceptance testing, and contribute to the long-term strategy for AI-enabled authoring workflows. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of clinical research technology while shaping tools that directly impact patient care and clinical operations.

Accountabilities:

• Own and manage the product backlog for AI-driven clinical trial document authoring solutions
• Translate clinical and product requirements into epics, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with engineering, AI/ML, QA, and clinical subject matter experts to deliver validated features in iterative releases
• Lead agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GCP, 21 CFR Part 11, and HIPAA
• Validate feature priorities with product managers, clinical users, and internal stakeholders
• Track product KPIs including draft quality, turnaround time, and user adoption
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, release documentation, and training materials
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 8-10 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in clinical research, digital health, or healthcare SaaS
• Strong understanding of agile development processes, Jira-based workflows, and product lifecycle best practices
• Experience writing user stories and managing end-to-end sprint execution with cross-functional teams
• Ability to collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers, backend/frontend engineers, data scientists, QA, and Product Managers
• Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based technologies, particularly for content generation or automation, is highly desirable
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and regulatory compliance
