Key Responsibilities

  • User research, concept generation, prototyping, validation of concept etc. by applying ‘Design Thinking’ process for ‘Industrial Design’.
  • User workspace design for defence systems/equipment
  • Design for human factors (ergonomics)
  • Packaging and layout of defence systems/equipment
  • Design for assembly, manufacturing and maintenance
  • Development of soft model and mock-ups for concept evaluation and refinement
  • Coordination with Engineering teams for concept optimization and detailing
  • User experience design (user interface design) & Collaboration with software teams for implementation of the User Interface

Key Skills

  • Creative Problem solving and conceptualization
  • Good sketching and product visualization skills
  • Proficient in 3D modelling and realistic rendering software tools
  • Proficiency in image editing and graphic design software
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
