The Role:

We are seeking our Head of Cyber Security Business Unit, who will be responsible for establishing the BU as a leading provider of Managed Security Services, growing the business, delivering cyber services with best of breed quality and customer expectations, developing and executing specific strategies focused on target clients and distinctive go-to-market propositions:

• Execute the vision for the growth of the Cyber Business Unit, including building and leading a team of sales, pre-sales and delivery people
• Evolve the service catalogue and people skillset in line with market needs
• Collaborate with other Business Units to enable cross-selling
• Manage the Business Unit Strategy and Operating Model
• Define and manage strategic partnerships for indirect sales
• Manage and evolve the Security Operation Centre (SOC) in line with market trends and regulatory requirements

The Requirements:

The successful appointee will reflect the distinctive goal of the Company to be a recognised and successful provider of Cyber Security Services, a business-oriented person, with a strong technical Cyber background.

• You will have market leading strategic, deep functional knowledge and insight, a mix of operational and commercial skills and an entrepreneurial approach. You will possess a network of clients and partners across Italy.
• In this role, the BU Head will lead the integration of IT and OT Cyber Security, ensuring our services meet the needs of industries reliant on OT systems.
• You will oversee the evolution of SOC services to address IT/OT convergence, with a focus on securing ICS, SCADA, and OT environments.
• You’ll drive the inclusion of OT monitoring in SOC services, aligning with trends in IT/OT convergence to offer integrated security solutions and ensure compliance with OT-specific regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIS2, IEC 62443) while evolving SOC operations to meet industry standards.

You will have:

• Senior level track record in leading Cyber Security Services companies, in the Italian market and, possibly, in other European Countries
• Proven Cyber expertise and knowledge – experience in managing cyber risks, detecting and managing cyber incidents and crisis, assessing and stress testing defences, delivering robust and proactive resilience plans
• Proven ability to build and managed a Security Operation Centre (SOC)
• Proven ability of a multi-year success of growing a cyber business
• Proven ability to manage a diverse team skill set
• Well-developed stakeholder management skills including addressing complex cyber propositions and issues and managing key client relationships and expectations
• A strong academic record that could include a bachelor’s and master’s degree from an accredited university
• Experience in managing cyber security risks in manufacturing, energy, and other OT-dependent sectors, ensuring protection for critical OT and ICS systems
• Experience on Cyber IT and OT convergence
• Knowledge of regulatory relevant to OT
• Fluent Italian and English are essential. Additional language skills including French or German are desirable.
