Role: Cyber Security Analyst

Job type: 6 month rolling contract

Location: London, near Bank.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years experience in a Cyber role, preferably with some tooling experience.

Project snapshot:

• Analyse and remediate non-compliant firewall rules using Splunk, Tufin, and Checkpoint.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement compliant firewall configurations.
• Design and execute targeted Pentera penetration testing across large-scale environments.
• Validate penetration testing findings with Qualys VMDR and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Lead proxy configuration and traffic management for enterprise servers.
• Manage proxy settings and connectivity for thousands of user VDIs.
• Troubleshoot proxy issues using HAR files, Wireshark, and Fiddler to ensure stable operations.
• Deploy and configure Darktrace vSensor probes for network monitoring and threat detection.
• Optimize Darktrace models to minimize false positives and improve alert accuracy.
• Perform post-build security checks using Splunk, Qualys, CrowdStrike, and CyberArk before server sign-off.
