Digital Asset Accountant
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant or Part Qualified Accountant to join our dynamic team and specialize in the emerging field of digital assets.
Responsibilities
- Crypto bookkeeping: Unlike traditional bank reconciliations, you will assist in recording blockchain transactions which includes swaps, providing liquidity and staking. There is a varied range of transactions you will deal with on a day to day basis.
- Management Accounts: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for our web3 clients, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Statutory Accounts: Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for web3 entities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Typically, FRS 102(1a) or IFRS.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform a variety of ad hoc accounting tasks as needed, such as reconciliations, journal entries, and tax returns.
- Client Support: Provide excellent client service by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring timely delivery of financial information.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or Part Qualified
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A keen interest in the web3 and cryptocurrency industry
