Role Description

We’re looking for a Junior Developer who enjoys working with both code and data. You’ll play a key role in supporting and maintaining our internal applications, keeping data up to date, and assisting with reporting and analytics. This is an on-site role in Perth, ideal for someone early in their development career who wants to grow their technical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain internal applications (Python / Node.js / PostgreSQL)
• Perform data updates, validation, and quality checks across systems
• Conduct analysis and reporting using Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
• Write and maintain small automation scripts for data workflows
• Troubleshoot bugs and support day-to-day system operations
• Collaborate with the team to prepare data for dashboards and reports

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience in AI, ML, or NLP development
• Proficiency in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn)
• Hands-on experience with RAG architectures and vector databases
• Knowledge of LLM APIs, embeddings, and prompt engineering
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with LangChain, OpenAI, Anthropic, or LlamaIndex
• Understanding of MLOps, data pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with cloud deployment environments.
