Meet The Team
Dexcom’s Global Product Design (GPD) is a multi-disciplinary team of user experience designers, visual designers, front-end software developers, instructional content designers and industrial designers who support the Dexcom product portfolio. Our newly formed GPD Studio in Vilnius is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to lead motion design for product UI, educational and instructional videos for GPD .
At Dexcom, you will use design to help improve the lives of our users by creating compelling experiences with our next generation Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) system and the expansion into non-insulin products. We are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. You will take ownership of creating animation for Dexcom’s global marketing organization. You will collaborate closely with our product design team to bring ideas to life , help develop a smooth the product onboarding process, and deliver artistic and instructional solutions across various projects and platforms.
GPD is honored to be the recipient of 23 international design awards for our G7 product including the iF Design Award, three Red Dot awards, and a gold IDEA award totaling over 23 awards. Now you can help us revolutionize the glycemic wellness space as we expand to Vilnius.

Monthly base salary for this position is from €4,363.33 to €5,133.33 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.

Where You Come In
- Collaborate with design and brand teams to understand project requirements and translate them into visual assets.
- Manage multiple 2D animation projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Utilize illustration software to collaborate with Illustrators and refine vector elements for 2D animation.
- Animate illustrations in After Effects , employing best practices and optimized workflows to ensure efficiency.
- Create scalable 2D animations suitable for mobile apps , web platforms and social media , including SVG and CSS/JS animations.
- tay ahead of trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas to our visual content. Push the boundaries of motion and static design to create impactful visuals.
- Excellent storytelling and storyboard creation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in English to work effectively within a global team.
- You are flexible with your work hours to facilitate collaboration with team members across different time zones, including regular meetings during US East and West Coast business hours.
- Ability to develop a pipeline and workflow for efficient animation tasks.
- Ability to design and animate vector-based graphics, with an understanding of optimization for various platforms.
- Familiarity with the 12 animation principle.
- An artist’s eye and an engineer’s rigor for animation.
- Proficiency in character rigging for creating fluid and dynamic a n imations that bring characters to life.
- Experience with Lottie for vector-based 2D animations tailored to SwiftUI (for iOS) and Jetpack Compose (for Android) is a plus.
- Experience working on hybrid 2D/3D projects utilizing software like Blender or Cinema 4D is a plus or if the app/web needs any motion graphics or 3D elements.
