Overview
triniti is recruiting a Senior .NET Developer for a federal government agency in Canberra.
You’ll design, build and maintain Azure-based web APIs and portal applications supporting key regulatory and reporting processes. You’ll integrate complex system components for a seamless user experience, apply secure coding practices and contribute to architectural and release documentation. Working within an agile, cross-functional team, you’ll provide technical advice, review code and uphold best practices, while mentoring others and fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
Summary of requirements & reperience:
- Technical Expertise: 5+ years developing secure, web-based business solutions using .NET Core/ASP.NET, REST APIs, Azure Function Apps, API Manager, Cosmos DB, and Service Bus.
- Frontend Skills: Strong experience with Angular or React; implementing Single Sign-On and role-based access via Azure Entra ID.
- Cloud Experience: Proven background delivering Azure-based solutions (Web Apps, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, CI/CD with DevOps). Skilled in optimising legacy applications for the cloud.
- Testing & Security: Familiar with ISM controls and automated testing tools (xUnit, nUnit, Selenium, Playwright.Net).
- Agile Delivery: Experience working in Agile, multi-disciplinary teams delivering secure, user-focused applications.
- Collaboration: Strong communication and mentoring skills; able to work effectively across geographically dispersed teams and with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What is on offer and required:
Based in Canberra or other Australian states. Long term contract 3x12 months, offering an attractive day rate. Australian Citizens only with a current baseline or willingness to obtain.
