About the Role
As a Senior Product Designer, you'll be a key player in defining and executing the product vision. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create intuitive and engaging user experiences that align with business objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead complex design projects from inception to delivery, influencing the entire product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive complex design projects from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs, product strategy, and design execution.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform and validate design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs with meticulous attention to detail and accessibility.
- Confidently present design work and rationale to stakeholders, effectively communicating your vision.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
- Mentor junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional growth.
- Champion user-centred design principles and foster a strong design culture within the team.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience as a Product Designer, showcasing a compelling portfolio of UI/UX project work.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead aspects of the product design process with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, with a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design methodologies and design thinking principles.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally within Agile product teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior designers.
- Familiarity with large-scale design systems.
- Strategic thinking skills, connecting user needs with business goals.
- Experience designing for iOS and Android platforms.
