A Bit About Us
Infrastructure Services Division play an important part in ensuring Queenslanders have world class learning facilities across the state. This is supported by our dedicated teams behind the scenes in Infrastructure Services Division that help make this possible.
The People and Resources team provide HR business-related consultancy and administrative support to our approximately 400 employees in the Division.
You will join a small friendly and professional team who work flexibly and diligently to support our colleagues. We are committed to continuous learning and business improvement - collectively and individually.
About The Role
As the Senior HR Support Officer, you will work closely with our Senior Corporate Services Officers by:
- Monitoring incoming queries and providing general HR advice and business support services to internal clients to ensure compliance with internal approval processes, legislation, directives, policies and standards.
- Supporting business units with activities including payroll administration, establishment queries; and other business support initiatives as directed.
- Any other duties as required.
- You demonstrate the ability and willingness to contribute your business administration knowledge and acumen to support and guide people resourcing decisions.
- You are willing to contribute to operational HR process improvement activities.
- You enjoy being part of a diverse and agile team, working collaboratively to provide quality client services and positive outcomes in an accurate and timely manner.
- You are confident and competent in your knowledge of and exposure to HR/Payroll systems, recruitment processes, MS Excel, Adobe and PowerBI (dashboards), capability or similar would be highly regarded.
- A brief resume including contact details for 2 referees (one of whom should be your current supervisor)
- A maximum 1-page written response outlining how your achievements and capabilities meet the requirements of the role referring to the information above and the attached Role Description.
