Circu Li-ion is driving the green revolution by prolonging the lifespan of individual battery cells through our cutting-edge automated battery disassembly lines. Our systems disassemble Li-ion battery packs into reusable Li-ion cells, minimizing waste and maximizing sustainability. By upcycling these cells into second-life CO2-neutral battery packs, we're revolutionizing the way batteries are reused and recycled for a better future.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who will oversee, coordinate and develop our online and offline software components. You will ensure tasks are delivered on time, within budget and with high standards. Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills are required for this exciting role.

Circu Li-ion has a fast-paced work environment which offers cross-functional team collaborations on an incredibly innovative product.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our (software) engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the development lifecycle, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training when necessary.
Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.

Your profile

Must-have qualifications:

At least 4 years of work experience as a Software Engineer, Full-Stack Developer or similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of frontend frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.
Knowledge in programming languages and scripting tools such as Python, Typescript.
Experience in developing web-based applications.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

Knowledge of virtualisation concepts and tools such as Docker, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of project management tools like ClickUp, Asana, or JIRA.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment.
Knowledge of Security by Design and Cloud security best practices.
