Operations Trainee / Data Scientist Trainee

Job Description

MN RAN R&D A&S is responsible for development of Nokia Mobile Networks system requirements and architectures. We have over 800 people working globally in the area. OTQ team and its leader is reporting directly to head of MN RAN R&D A&S and we have team of 20 people globally. Our responsibility area covers all operational, transformation and quality topics for our unit.

Your role would be to work in operations area and partially maintain related scripting. Also, you would be owning our SharePoint and helping with daily operational tasks related to communications & IT related issues and event management. Also part of the role is developing AI solutions to automatize the tasks and also possibly contributing as an AI expert to R&D AI projects. Preferred location would be in Espoo, Finland.

In the role you will get good exposure on how a global organization and it’s operations function works and get experience on how to work in dynamic and energetic multicultural environment where everyday is different.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• SharePoint management: understand the organization and manage user permission
• Reporting and project management support: gather data for the generation monthly reports and follow up Jira ticket status on a weekly basis
• Other operations related tasks including communications, IT and training creation
• AI tool development in system engineering and operations tasks automation
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

• Basic knowledge on AI/ML
• Capability to maintain and develop Python related scripts
• Capability and willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques in AI
• Basic knowledge on Microsoft 365 tools (Words, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Strong written and spoken English
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders and maintain positive working relationships in international environment
  
  

It would be nice if you also had:

• Vertex AI and agent technology competencies
• Skill in organizing events and managing logistics for activities
