At Framery, we don't just design office pods—we transform workplaces with smart, digital solutions. Our award-winning solutions enhance focus, collaboration, and well-being in modern offices. We invest in our people, nurture talent, and create a workplace where everyone can thrive.
We are now searching for a Quality Assurance Engineer (IoT) to join Framery on an exciting journey, shaping the future of smart office solutions by ensuring the highest quality of our products.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be key in ensuring our smart solutions function seamlessly and meet the strictest requirements. This is your chance to develop testing strategies and automation in a modern environment. You will join our QA team and work closely with the Embedded team and occasionally with the Web team. You will thrive in a dynamic, forward-thinking culture where innovation, teamwork, and professional growth are at the heart of what we do. You will be reporting to the QA Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive testing (scripted and exploratory) of IoT devices and backend code.
- Document and present findings to the team clearly and concisely (bug reports, investigation results, and more).
- Review and validate requirements for completeness and clarity.
- Conduct risk analysis and mitigation discussions.
- Manage and provision test environments and data.
- Develop tools and frameworks for tool-assisted and automated testing.
- Implement and maintain automated regression checks.
- Support with resolving issues in production.
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Work experience in a similar role in an agile software development team.
- Good command of software testing theory.
- Programming skills in one or more languages: Python, Go, C++, C.
- Experience in test automation using Python or another high-level programming language.
- Experience with Git, Linux command line, and SQL.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and document your learnings.
- Familiarity or prior experience with IoT/embedded software development and testing is considered a significant asset. Any knowledge of modern CI/CD tools and cloud infrastructure is also a great benefit.
