We are currently looking for a Category Manager – Data & Insights Focus (1 Year Maternity Cover) who will be integral to driving category growth and commercial performance across the Lovehoney Group. Your focus will be on delivering actionable insights through data analytics, managing category performance, and enabling data-informed decision-making across global teams.
What You Will Do
- Manage the performance of assigned categories, driving growth through assortment and demand tactics.
- Build and maintain global category reporting dashboards and performance tracking tools.
- Present category performance updates and insight-driven recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Lead or support data projects related to category forecasting, customer behavior, and performance analytics.
- Partner with buying, merchandising, trading, and marketing teams to translate insights into commercial actions.
- 3–5+ years of experience in Category Management, Commercial Analytics, or a related role (retail, FMCG, or e-commerce preferred).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
- Proven ability to translate data into strategy and tell a compelling commercial story through insights.
- Strong understanding of range architecture, pricing strategy, and promotional planning.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and comfort working with large datasets, forecasting, and trend analysis.
