What They’re Looking For

As the company continues to expand internationally, they’re seeking a forward-thinking professional to lead and evolve their Responsible AI and Governance strategy. This role will shape how the business leverages AI safely and ethically, ensuring every initiative aligns with privacy, security, and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will combine technical depth with strategic vision, bringing proven experience in IT risk management, information security, and governance. You’ll work across multiple teams to drive responsible AI adoption, influence company-wide standards, and build awareness programs that promote best practice.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust frameworks for secure, ethical, and compliant AI use across the organization.
  • Oversee governance, compliance, and risk assessments for AI technologies and third-party vendors.
  • Lead internal education programs and workshops to promote safe AI usage and best practices.
  • Conduct AI-related security audits, identify potential risks, and coordinate mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Risk teams to integrate AI principles into broader compliance policies.
  • Document, refine, and enhance AI-related governance processes in line with emerging global regulations.
  • Stay informed on developments in GDPR, ISO 42001, and the EU AI Act to ensure ongoing compliance.


Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals such as bias, fairness, and explainability.
  • Familiarity with ISO 42001, GDPR, or other relevant compliance frameworks.
  • Certification in AI governance, information security, or risk management.
  • Experience with project delivery, change management, or cloud platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Proven background in implementing large-scale governance or security initiatives.
