As we continue to embark on our ambitious Digital Transformation project, we are expanding our team and seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to support our Technology and HR functions as we scale our business across Ireland and the UK.


We are looking for a technically proficient professional, ideally with a background in Human Resources and Learning & Development, who can play a key role in the administration, support, and optimization of our HR Information Systems. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with HR, Training, Payroll, and Technology teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including process and system development, business analysis, functional documentation, data and reporting development and administration, end-user support, training facilitation, and system administration. You will be instrumental in driving improvements and supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives that shape the future of our People and Technology functions.


Reporting directly to the Senior HRIS Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in several project initiatives, contributing to the success of our transformation journey and helping us build scalable, future-ready systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the exploration, evaluation, design, and configuration of new features and functionalities within HRIS Sage People and integrated systems such as LearnUpon LMS, NetSuite ERP, Timesheets, and Payroll.
  • Develop and maintain strict data integrity and quality auditing procedures and proactively review inefficiencies in processes and present proposals for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain advanced reports with emphasis on data cleansing across HR systems.
  • Create and manage functional documentation, database standards, and best practice guidelines.
  • Partner with stakeholders across HR, Training, Recruitment, Technology, Finance, and external consultants to deliver system enhancements, integrations, and issue resolutions.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for end users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of system-related queries.
  • Maintain accurate change logs and documentation to reflect updates to business processes and system configurations.
  • Coordinate and manage group-wide training plans; facilitate training sessions as needed.
  • Participate in Sage People’s bi-annual release cycles, conducting fit-gap analyses to assess the impact of new features on existing processes.
  • Build and maintain system integrations, calculated fields, conditional workflows, and business processes aligned with business requirements.
  • Support project administration tasks including report generation and cost analysis.
  • Assist the HR department with system-related initiatives and operational support.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s in Business Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Ideally, 3 years’ experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), such as Sage People, Workday, or SAP.
  • Strong technical proficiency in HR systems, with a solid understanding of system functionality and configuration.
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring the integrity, security, and accuracy of HCM and LMS architecture and data.
  • Proven ability to thrive in both structured and dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure.
