Job Description
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in project implementation and execution. You will coordinate the project team and management of the project on a day-to-day basis to ensure key project milestones are achieved and the successful delivery of the project.
Your Responsibilities will include:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- - Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- - Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- - Coordinate with cross functional teams, including other Engineering teams, Sprinkler, and Fire Protection, to ensure seamless project excution.
- - Prepare red-line technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using industry-standard software and Buliding Information Modelling (BIM) tools.
- - Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the design phase.
- - Assist with the construction and installation with the construction team.
- - Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- - Addess any technical challenges or issues that may arise during the construction phase, implementing effective solutions promptly.
- - Project documentation and reporting.
Skills And Requirements
- Relevant 3rd Level Qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
- Electrical trade background would be advantageous.
- 2-3 years' experience as an Electrical Engineerin in the engineering services industry, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- This role may suit an Electrical Engineering Graduate with a few years of experience looking to move to a role with increased responsibility.
- Experience of managing Electrical projects essential.
- Excellent delegation and organisational skills with previous experience in Buliding Information Modelling advantageous.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Understanding of relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards in mechanical engineering.
