Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a skilled Senior Project Manager to join the Global Markets Operations team at a leading banking client for a long-term contract opportunity. This role involves leading and supporting a diverse portfolio of change initiatives, ranging from strategic and discretionary projects to regulatory and market-driven mandates. These initiatives aim to enhance client experience, drive efficiency, reduce costs, and support new product delivery.

The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Front Office, Technology, Finance, and other support functions. Responsibilities include managing projects end-to-end or contributing to specific phases such as business case development, requirements gathering, testing coordination, and post-implementation reviews.

Must-Haves

• Proven project management experience in Financial Services, ideally Investment Banking.
• Knowledge of global markets products and post-trade processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under pressure.
• Skilled in project planning, documentation, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; comfortable working independently and leading small to mid-size teams.

Plusses

• Familiarity with structured project management frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2, Microsoft Solutions Framework).
• Experience with structured business analysis techniques (e.g. Six Sigma).
• Exposure to DAIC methodology.
