About the position

Our customer is a software development company that develops in-house Modular Digital Insurance Platform. It has been on the market for almost 30 years, and acquired more than 2000 clients that trust their solutions. Hence the challenge stems from the maturity of the IT landscape. As DevOps engineer you will be responsible for guiding the client through the devops-transformation process, helping to migrate from old version control systems and workflows to modern solutions and processes that match industry standards nowadays.

The position duties will include development of various toolkits supporting code repositories migration and synchronization, promoting new versioning and branching strategy, different systems’ integration into unified pipelines, ensuring software updates delivery to end users. Rather than being limited by user stories, the position implies to be a driving force of transformation process, to analyze clients’ requirements and needs, to promote solutions, and to inspire people to embrace new way of working.

Starting in a smaller group you will be the driving force of transformation process, helping the customer to accommodate new way of working with code, improving related workflows and pipelines.

What We Expect

• Acquaintance with CI/CD and software lifecycle management
• A peek into Windows software build processes, and artifacts management
• Experience with at least one programming language
• A peek into software development automation pipelines
• Good understanding of software development workflows and processes
• Good knowledge of GIT
• Good English communication skills
• It’s a plus to speak Python

The gross salary in this position is 2800-3200 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and competencies.
