Emagine is currently looking for a Miles Consultant to join a long-term assignment with one of our international clients in the automotive finance sector. This is a strategic opportunity to contribute to the optimization of Contract Management Systems (CMS) within a leading multinational organization, supporting mobility solutions across multiple European markets from our IT hub in Porto.


The selected professional will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver high-quality system configurations, ensure application stability, and implement functional improvements aligned with business objectives.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for CMS.
  • Configure and customize CMS applications to optimize processes and workflows.
  • Perform SQL-based configuration tasks and data manipulation to support system operations.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively address availability or stability issues.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and defects in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and deliver training sessions to end-users.
  • Participate in requirement-gathering workshops and stakeholder alignment meetings.
  • Coordinate release activities, including planning, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Support testing cycles, ensuring accuracy of defect tracking and validation.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and releases.


You bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in Contract Management Systems or similar IT functions.
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms and related IT ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database operations.
  • Familiarity with collaboration and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office 365.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles and functional analysis principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Knowledge of German is an advantage.
