Dealroom.co is now looking for a talented graphic designer to join its multifaceted team of talents and global mission to empower people using data! In today's data-driven world, you'll play a key role in making complex information easy to understand and visually engaging. From reports to social media assets, your work will help us reach a wider audience and ensure everything we produce is not only beautiful but also highly functional, scalable, and efficient. You'll get to work on a diverse range of projects, from reports to in-depth analyses, collaborating with various internal teams, strategic partners, and clients. Together, we'll build a business that's at the forefront of data distribution and presentation for the most important decisions.

As a Graphic Designer, You Will

  • Work closely with Marketing, Research, and Sales, to create on-brand collateral across various channels (mainly digital) elevating our brand presence to the next level.
  • Support in a variety of Graphic Design projects: editorial design, both for digital and print fruition, data visualisation, and other sorts of tasks required, all reflecting Dealroom’s brand.
  • Create clean and engaging presentation layouts and visual assets for different use types, such as motion graphic animations, social media posts, and photo editing/compositing of thumbnails for our social media.
  • Ensure compliance with Dealroom brand look and feel across different mediums, and teams; learn how to make yours and elevate it to the next level by implementing it with ideas and creativity.
  • Work closely with the Product Designer, sharing valuable feedback both ways to align Product and Graphic Design and make our brand well represented in both.
  • Show your creativity and innovation when redefining a design brief in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Be the owner of your projects and responsibilities, by presenting finalised ideas and concepts to the team and any stakeholder involved.

Job requirements

  • Based in/near Lisbon, and are eligible to work in Portugal. We do not offer visas/sponsorships, or relocations for this role.
  • Recent graduate from a bachelors or masters-level studies at a design academy/university.
  • You are proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
  • Ability to translate ideas into images and visuals.
  • Strong typography, and layout skills, to be applied in different media.
  • Solid experience with social media guidelines and best practices
  • You are organised, able to prioritise and work under pressure with an excellent eye for details
  • Able to thrive in dynamic environments, and to bring creative solutions to daily challenges
  • Comfortable with working in a multicultural and fast-growing start-up work environment
  • Fluent in written and oral English.

Plus points

  • Being able to navigate your way around Adobe After Effects and video editing (PremierePro)
  • Experience with data visualization is preferable.
  • Experience with motion graphics is a plus.
  • Figma is not required but a nice bonus. Any competence in UI/UX is a plus.
