About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Data Protection Consultant to join our team and support clients across Europe (e.g. European Commission and Spanish companies) in achieving compliance with data protection regulations, including the GDPR and related national laws. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong legal and regulatory background who is passionate about privacy, compliance, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on GDPR/EUDPR compliance and other European data protection laws.
• Support clients in designing, implementing, and monitoring privacy and data protection programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Draft, review, and improve privacy policies, contractual clauses, and internal governance documents.
• Manage data subject requests and act as liaison with supervisory authorities where required.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, and compliance teams to ensure an integrated approach.

Requirements:

• EU nationality (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.
• Postgraduate studies or specialization in Data Protection, Privacy, IT Law, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in data protection projects, preferably advising organizations in diverse sectors.
• English level B2++ (written and spoken).
• Desired Qualifications (a plus)
• Professional certifications in Data Protection, Compliance, or Cybersecurity (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, DPO, ISO/IEC 27001).
• Experience working in international environments, European Commission or consulting firms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
