Job Description
The Key Account Specialist (KAS) for Vaccines serves as the primary contact for stakeholders throughout the vaccine journey in their region, including vaccinators, influencers, pharmacists, and nurses. The main goals are to promote assigned vaccines, increase awareness, and boost coverage according to the marketing strategy while adhering to compliance protocols.
The KAS reports to the Team Lead for Vaccines and is responsible for achieving both quantitative and qualitative objectives to enhance vaccine awareness and utilization in their assigned territory. This role requires a high degree of autonomy in delivering quality medical information, conducting engaging promotional presentations, addressing customer needs, organizing local events, and providing data-driven insights for maximizing opportunities in the region. The KAS is expected to be a subject matter expert on the vaccine journey and proactively address any gaps in collaboration with their manager and relevant functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve quantitative and qualitative objectives for vaccine awareness and coverage.
- Build professional relationships and partnerships with stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Provide high-quality promotional information to customers.
- Develop adaptable short and mid-term plans for the region.
- Organize and lead local promotional events, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Use data analysis to make informed decisions about Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and promotional strategies.
- Provide timely feedback on marketing materials and participate in cycle meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and pursue ongoing professional development.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, local laws, and regulations.
- University degree from an accredited university.
- Relevant commercial experience in a customer-facing role; experience in vaccines is a plus.
- Proficiency in Slovenian and English.
- Strong medical and commercial knowledge.
- Familiarity with the regional market and vaccine journey.
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and administrative skills.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and solve problems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; adept at influencing and negotiation.
- Customer-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying needs.
- Capable of analyzing complex situations and fostering collaboration.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
- Agile and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ethics and integrity.
