Our story begins with Shadi Bitar and Ninos Malki, whocame to Sweden from Syria as kids and discovered that books could be a bridge –helping them learn the language, understand the culture, and explore newworlds.

Let us tell you about the role 📖
As an iOS Developer at Nextory, you’ll design, build, and refineour iOS app. In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers, productmanagers and fellow developers to make every interaction feel effortless andinspiring. Together with talented colleagues across product and engineering,you’ll shape how stories are discovered, shared and enjoyed.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Building and enhancing the iOS app’s core experiences
• Owning and evolving key app features
• Collaborating across teams to understand user needs and deliver elegant, scalable solutions that make reading and listening even more enjoyable

We believe you are a curious and dedicated iOS Developer whothrives on creating smooth, high-quality mobile experiences. You take pride incrafting elegant solutions that make technology feel effortless and you enjoyworking closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to bringideas to life.

Furthermore, we believe you have:

• Relevant educational background in computer science, engineering, or a similar field
• At least 5 years of experience working as an iOS Developer in fast-paced environments
• Deep knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI
• Experience working with Combine and daily use of Core Data
