The Opportunity

Are you ready to lead a growing team in a global organization? HVDC is seeking a motivated and experienced Manager to head one of our Project Documentation Management departments. This is a key leadership role based in Ludvika, where the majority of your team is located.

You’ll report directly to the Global Head of Documentation Management and collaborate closely with fellow managers across HVDC Operations. Your mission is to guide and develop a team of engaged Project Documentation Managers working on HVDC EP/EPC tenders and projects around the world.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Manage and support a growing group of Project Documentation Managers, fostering a positive, high-performing team culture
  • Define documentation scope for tenders and projects, including resource planning and cost estimation
  • Oversee documentation execution across projects, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance
  • Continuously develop processes and tools to improve efficiency and quality in documentation management
  • Ensure adherence to established documentation processes and adapt them to meet evolving market needs
  • Act as a point of escalation for your team, addressing issues and reporting progress and concerns to senior leadership
  • Build strong relationships across HVDC departments to support project success
  • Take ownership of your department’s budget, monitor costs, and handle administrative responsibilities

Your Background

  • A university degree and at least 5 years of experience in project documentation management or a related project management role.
  • Proven leadership experience and a natural ability to motivate and support teams.
  • Strong interest in team development and coaching.
  • Solid computer skills; experience with documentation management systems is a plus.
  • A proactive mindset—you’re not afraid to tackle complex issues and drive results.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish (spoken and written), as most of your direct reports are Swedish.
  • Fluency in English, which is essential for daily communication across our global organization.
