Halian is hiring Performance Test Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Greetings!
Experience required: 5+ Years
Duration: 6 months & Extendable
Notice Period: Immediate/30 Days
Technical Skills:
* Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering.
* Strong proficiency with JMeter / K6 / Gatling or equivalent performance testing tools.
* Proven experience in testing API, Web, and Mobile applications for performance and scalability.
* Good understanding of frontend rendering, API latency, and backend throughput analysis.
* Exposure to mobile performance testing tools (e.g., Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, Android Profiler, Xcode Instruments)
* Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and integration of performance tests into build pipelines.
* Experience with Dynatrace, Grafana, or equivalent observability platforms for performance visualization and alerting.
* Familiarity with containerized and cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure)
* Strong analytical, debugging, and system-tuning skills.
* Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in capacity planning and scalability assessments across digital channels.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Groovy, or Shell) for automation and data correlation.
* Familiarity with database performance tuning (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
* Certification in Performance Testing / Engineering (e.g., JMeter Certified Tester, LoadRunner Professional) is an advantage.
