We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Product Manager with a strong technical and business mindset to lead the global development and lifecycle management of our fire and emergency lighting solutions. In this strategic role, you’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our products remain competitive, compliant, energy-efficient, and aligned with evolving market needs.
This is a permanent position, and you report to CTO Thomas Thoden. Your office location can be in Helsinki, Stockholm, or Oslo.
What you will be doing:
- Managing the product strategy and roadmap for fire and emergency lighting solutions.
- Conducting market research to understand regional regulations, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Overseeing the product lifecycle from concept to launch and phase-out, including technical specifications, testing, certifications, pricing and profitability analysis.
- Collaborating closely with product development, sales, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product launches and marketing.
- Monitoring competitors and analyzing market trends.
- Supporting sales teams with product training, technical documentation, and go-to-market strategies.
- Tracking and optimizing product performance throughout its lifecycle.
What we are looking for:
- A relevant master's or bachelor's degree (e.g. in engineering or business).
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in fire safety, emergency lighting, or building automation.
- Solid understanding of European and global product standards and regulations, along with hands-on experience in system protocols and BMS integration technologies.
- Knowledge of Nordic product requirements and market specific differences.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate market needs into concrete product concepts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- A proactive and analytical approach to work.
- Multilingual capabilities and cultural fluency in European markets, English as a proficient working language and fluency in either Finnish, Swedish or Norwegian (spoken and written).
- Willingness and possibility to travel.
