Project Manager - Chemical Plant (Dubai/UAE)

A leading multi-billion chemical company in the UAE, with strong operations across Europe and Asia.

They are a global leader in industrial and coil coatings, supplying sustainable, high-performance solutions to manufacturing players.

With over €500 million in revenue, they continue to expand their footprint through major greenfield investments in the Middle East.

The Role:

This is a stand-alone position responsible for setting up a new chemical coatings plant in Dubai and supporting operations in Ras Al-Khaimah.

The Project Manager will lead end-to-end project delivery - from design, construction, fit-out, and installation to commissioning and operational handover.

What We’re Looking For

• 8–15 years of project management experience in chemical, manufacturing, or industrial plant construction (UAE experience).
• Proven track record in greenfield/brownfield projects, managing EPC contractors, vendors, and procurement activities.
• Strong leadership in coordinating engineering, HSE, and supply chain teams, ensuring cost, quality, and safety standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering; PMP / PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
