About Us:
We’re an established and growing digital agency situated in the heart of Cardiff Bay looking to add a new Senior Laravel developer to our brilliant team.
(UK based – Location Flexible)
Whilst we are well known for our design skills and producing engaging commercial websites, we also spend a lot of our time building and maintaining bespoke online systems for some of the world’s biggest automotive brands including Hyundai, Harley-Davidson and Triumph Motorcycles.
We are proud to have a well respected team of developers with expertise on both the PHP and .NET stacks and over 100 years of software experience combined.
We think that PHP is a great technology for rapidly developing exciting new online systems – especially when using the Laravel framework and the elegant design patterns that it brings. As a result, we are looking for someone with experience of the Laravel ecosystem.
What will you be doing:
- Reporting to the Development Team Lead, you’ll work closely with project managers, front-end and back-end developers, and client support to turn client requirements into robust solutions.
- You’re highly proficient in the programming language(s) used by your Development Team – comfortable with core principles, common pitfalls and platform quirks – and confident operating in that environment.
- You lead by example: writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code. You can work from requirements and deliver the vast majority of tasks independently. When you spot risks or issues, you raise them early and propose practical solutions.
- You help others to succeed – mentoring, pairing and giving clear guidance on good operational practice. You also improve how we work by shaping, documenting and iterating our processes.
- You advise the Department Team Lead on emerging technologies and process improvements relevant to our stack. You’re accountable for meeting targets and objectives set by your team lead.
