What The Role Is
You are responsible in undertaking various Vocation Advisory Authority (VAA) and Human Resource (HR) portfolios and responsibilities as part of the Manpower Branch in the Command.
What You Will Be Working On
You are responsible in undertaking various Vocation Advisory Authority (VAA) and Human Resource (HR) portfolios and responsibilities as part of the Manpower Branch in the Command.
What You Will Be Working On
- Develop and execute deployment and training plans
- Implement and administer HR initiatives and processes
- Liaise with Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) on administration of courses
- Guide and advise stakeholders on HR matters
- Contribute to digitalising and automating HR processes
- Responding swiftly to changing scenarios and being flexible in tackling unexpected challenges
- Working with multiple stakeholders to balance their interests with organisational needs
- Enhancing service delivery to provide positive onboarding experience and career journey for the NS population
- Liaising with all levels of management and presenting to senior management
- At least 6 years of relevent experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and engagement skills
- Ability to handle large volumes of data
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Ability to think critically on issues
- Good project management and stakeholder management skills
