ROLE OVERVIEW:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and schedule project activities, resulting in a comprehensive project plan.
  • Oversee project deliverables, facilitating coordination between business and technology teams throughout the project's duration in accordance with the established plan.
  • Monitor project budgets, issues, and risks as outlined in the project plan.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Proactively address issues and risks, implementing mitigation and resolution strategies in collaboration with relevant team members.
  • Promptly escalate delays, risks, and issues to appropriate parties.
  • Establish a governance and communication framework to facilitate both operational engagement and stakeholder updates.
  • Coordinate with finance and procurement departments regarding vendor contracts, invoice processing, required documentation, and approvals.
  • Manage delivery of all project outputs and artefacts according to the organization’s delivery lifecycle.
  • Interpret implementation requirements for the cybersecurity solution to ensure alignment with desired business outcomes and effective project management.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience managing cybersecurity projects, including implementation of security tools, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Ability to assess and mitigate risks related to information security and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, and identity and access management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to coordinate between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
  • Proven track record in delivering projects on time and within budget, especially in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating complex security challenges.
  • Certification such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar is highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence, monitoring, hunting and reporting security events added advantage.


EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, CEH, and CompTIA Security+ are considered advantageous.
