We are a rapidly growing, Y-Combinator-backed (YC X25) startup operating at the intersection of AI and Cybersecurity. We are building fully autonomous, in-house AI agent systems designed to solve critical, large-scale problems in modern web application security. Join a small, high-impact founding team to define and build the core technology from the ground up.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Founding Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus on backend development and AI systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable, high-performance web applications and our cutting-edge AI Agent platform.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Founding Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus on backend development and AI systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable, high-performance web applications and our cutting-edge AI Agent platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop modular, reusable, and maintainable features primarily using Python
- Build and maintain complex features with a strong focus on system performance and scalability
- Design and create robust RESTful APIs in Python to power our proprietary AI Agents
- Implement and optimize systems for Agentic AI in the domain of large-scale threat detection and mitigation
- Analyze and identify performance bottlenecks in the backend codebase, implementing efficient optimization solutions
- Work with database systems, ensuring efficiency and scalability using PostgreSQL
- Utilize and build backend infrastructure components using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Contribute to creating custom Agentic tools, protocols, and foundational systems
- Experience: 1 - 5 years of experience as a software engineer at a notable company (e.g., big tech, YC startup)
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Core Proficiency: Strong knowledge and deep understanding of Python, API Design, and efficient Database systems
- AI Expertise: Deep understanding of AI Agents, LLMs, and relevant AI libraries. Experience designing and creating complex Agentic AI Architectures
- Backend Architecture: Strong understanding of building scalable, micro-services and distributed systems with efficient design patterns
- Development Tools: Strong experience with version control using Git and Git-based workflows
- Productivity: Experience leveraging AI development tools (e.g., Cursor) to significantly improve development speed and quality
- Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Experience with the post-training and serving of LLM models
- Understanding of web vulnerabilities, cybersecurity principles, or experience working with security tools (Not required, but beneficial)
- Competitive annual salary ($160K - $225K) and significant early-stage equity (0.25% - 0.6%)
