Senior Software Engineer (Go / Golang)

Hybrid – New York City | $180K–$250K + Equity

A fast-growing, venture-backed startup is looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to help shape the technical direction of an AI-driven platform transforming how people learn and work. You’ll be joining a small, senior team that ships quickly, values ownership, and is building at the forefront of applied AI.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and ship production-ready features across a Go-based backend and modern TypeScript frontend.
• Make architectural decisions that balance startup velocity with long-term scalability.
• Collaborate closely with founders and senior engineers to translate customer needs into elegant technical solutions.
• Help define and evolve engineering best practice, culture, and tooling as the team grows.
• Leverage the latest AI tools to accelerate development and push the boundaries of what’s possible.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years’ professional software engineering experience (Go experience strongly preferred).
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality products in fast-paced environments.
• Experience across the full stack; ability to own features end-to-end.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with an ownership mentality.
• Enthusiasm for working on cutting-edge AI technologies and shaping the culture of a rapidly scaling team.
