Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may also be considered.
- Minimum of two years of hands-on systems experience, with three or more years in a similar IT role within a hotel or resort environment.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Willingness and ability to live and work in a remote location for extended periods, with flexibility to travel as required.
- Diagnose hardware and software issues, replace faulty components, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Maintain and administer the resorts computer networks and related systems, including hardware, operating systems, applications, and configurations.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware integrity.
- Monitor system performance through network consoles, ensuring optimal functionality and coordinated access across departments.
- Conduct routine network startup and shutdown procedures while maintaining accurate control and maintenance records.
- Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software, and operating system applications.
- Recommend and implement improvements to network and system configurations, including necessary hardware or software updates.
- Provide technical support and collaborate with system users to resolve issues effectively.
- Monitor network performance, identify areas for optimization, and plan necessary upgrades or adjustments.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure guest technology experiences meet the highest standards of comfort, efficiency, and innovation.
- Promote a culture of cost awareness and operational efficiency through training and ongoing support.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, financial, and security standards, including accurate reporting, documentation, and adherence to safety and operational protocols.
