Our client is an ultra-luxury resort, globally recognised as a leader in the wellness hospitality industry, and is currently seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to oversee and enhance the resort's information technology systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless digital operations and exceptional service support across all departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of two years of hands-on systems experience, with three or more years in a similar IT role within a hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Willingness and ability to live and work in a remote location for extended periods, with flexibility to travel as required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose hardware and software issues, replace faulty components, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Maintain and administer the resorts computer networks and related systems, including hardware, operating systems, applications, and configurations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware integrity.
  • Monitor system performance through network consoles, ensuring optimal functionality and coordinated access across departments.
  • Conduct routine network startup and shutdown procedures while maintaining accurate control and maintenance records.
  • Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software, and operating system applications.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to network and system configurations, including necessary hardware or software updates.
  • Provide technical support and collaborate with system users to resolve issues effectively.
  • Monitor network performance, identify areas for optimization, and plan necessary upgrades or adjustments.
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure guest technology experiences meet the highest standards of comfort, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Promote a culture of cost awareness and operational efficiency through training and ongoing support.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, financial, and security standards, including accurate reporting, documentation, and adherence to safety and operational protocols.
