Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Governance
- Manage the end-to-end digitization and automation program in collaboration with functional and technical teams, with guidance of IT head.
- Establish governance mechanisms, timelines, and reporting structures for automation projects.
- Act as a single point of accountability for planning, execution, and delivery.
- Evaluate business processes in consultation with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
- Prioritize automation requirements based on compliance needs, business impact, effort, and ROI.
- Build a pipeline and roadmap of automation initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
- Support functional teams in creating detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) capturing workflows, decision points, exceptions, and scenarios.
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture and process flows for automation.
- Design robust, user-friendly, and scalable applications that align with workflows, functional specifications, and required integrations.
- Oversee development efforts by internal IT teams or external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage configuration and solution design on low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Zoho Creator).
- Ensure adherence to development best practices, documentation, data security, and compliance standards.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and regression testing to validate quality and performance.
- Coordinate and support end-user departments for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Capture feedback and oversee corrections, optimizations, or enhancements before deployment.
- Ensure smooth deployment and go-live of applications, with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including user guides, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Facilitate user training, adoption support, and change management initiatives.
- Monitor deployed applications for performance, stability, and user experience.
- Implement enhancements and resolve issues based on post-implementation feedback.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and digital adoption across the organization.
