Job Description
- Create high-quality 2D art assets for use in video games
- Collaborate with the art director, game designers, and other artists to create visually stunning and engaging environments, characters, and objects
- Use 2D software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator to create assets
- Incorporate feedback from art director, game designers, and other team members to refine and improve the assets
- Follow art direction and established art style guidelines
- Work with other artists and development teams to ensure that art assets are integrated correctly into the game
- Continuously improve skills and stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in the industry
- Strong portfolio of 2D art assets for video games
- Strong understanding of 2D software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of game development pipelines and workflows
- Strong understanding of game art design principles and techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction and incorporate feedback
- Passion for video games and an understanding of the gaming industry
- Bachelor’s degree in fine art, game development, or related field preferred.
