Role Overview

As Head of Development, you will:

• Own the full SDLC: planning, branching, testing, deployment, and code review.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple product lines, guiding developers and data engineers.
• Shape platform architecture for scalable, secure, cloud-native AI, data, and API layers.
• Mentor and grow the engineering team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive code quality and velocity with modern DevOps and test automation practices.
• Collaborate with Product, AI, and Client Delivery teams to turn ideas into production-ready features.
• Champion secure coding, model governance, and responsible AI deployment.
• Represent engineering in client and partner discussions, including Microsoft partner engagements.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience leading software teams or as a principal engineer / lead developer in high-growth product or consultancy settings.
• Deep technical expertise in Azure AI ecosystem: AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, AKS.
• Strong Python and C# skills with microservices and scalable API architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and SDLC processes.
• Ability to design, review, and enforce coding standards and architectural guidelines.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Strategic, pragmatic, and curious mindset — comfortable moving between high-level architecture and hands-on development.
