The Junior Analysis Engineer supports the engineering team by performing structural and mechanical analyses, simulations, and optimizations. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about aerospace engineering and eager to develop key competencies in a dynamic environment.


Responsabilities


  • Analyze technical specifications, interface documents, and job descriptions.
  • Develop mathematical models and perform structural-mechanical simulations and optimizations using MSC NASTRAN and Altair Hyperworks (Optistruct).
  • Conduct strength analyses for lightweight structures.
  • Create predictions and correlations for static and dynamic experiments.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations (primarily in English).
  • Participate in meetings, reviews, and present work to clients.
  • Contribute to improving Stress Office expertise and efficiency (new methods, tools, standardization).
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor technical project work in calculation areas.
  • Manage budgets and deadlines for calculation activities.
  • Respond to RIDs (Review Item Discrepancies).


Requirements


  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (University/ETH).
  • Experience in aerospace or equivalent fields, including:
  • FE Analysis with MSC NASTRAN, Altair Hyperworks/Optistruct, and/or Abaqus & NX Siemens.
  • FEM simulation of vibro-acoustic phenomena.
  • Structural analysis and mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in FE analysis using NASTRAN, Optistruct, and/or Abaqus & NX Siemens.
  • Knowledge of static and dynamic analysis.
  • Experience automating FEM simulations using Python API.
  • Familiarity with structures, mechanisms, and solar wings.
  • Analysis of composites, sandwich structures, and lightweight materials is a plus.
  • Knowledge of structures, mechanisms, and antennas is nice to have.
  • Understanding of mechanical layout for aerospace structures and components.
  • Advanced English skills (reading, writing, speaking).
