The Role

We’re on the search for an experienced and proactive and hands on Production Supervisor to join our night shift packing team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the quality and standards of Laurent’s exceptional products. You will also play a key role in driving operational excellence across all manufacturing lines working with state-of-the-art machinery!


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily bakery operations, including mixing and baking processes.
  • Build a positive culture focusing on team development.
  • To provide strong, hands-on leadership ensuring open communication channels and cross training.
  • Meet targets in a dynamic and fast-moving business.
  • Ensure compliance with required Quality, GMP, HACCP, Hygiene and Food Safety policies
  • Focus on ensuring your team are safe and following OHS processes and procedures


The Successful Candidate

  • Proven experience in the food manufacturing industry in a supervisory capacity.
  • Previous experience trouble shooting machine breakdowns within training capability would be advantageous.
  • An eye for detail to ensure packing issues are identified and rectified quickly, with the support of our awesome maintenance team when required
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • A qualified baker or pastry chef is preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good numerical ability.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
