About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst who combines analytical rigor with business impact. In this role, you'll be the technical expert behind our marketing performance strategy, transforming complex data into clear insights that drive multi-million dollar investment decisions across paid media channels.
Reporting to our Marketing Performance Manager, you'll dive deep into attribution, incrementality, and conversion optimization—using SQL, Python, and statistical modeling to answer the questions that matter. If you love uncovering the "why" behind the numbers, building tools that scale, and seeing your analyses turn into action, this is your role.
You'll work in a fast-paced e-commerce environment where data drives decisions, experimentation is the norm, and your insights directly impact revenue and profitability.
What You'll Do
Analyze & Uncover Insights
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on channel and campaign performance (CVR, ROAS, CAC, LTV) to identify optimization opportunities
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to answer ad-hoc business questions and validate hypotheses
- Investigate anomalies and performance variances, delivering root-cause analysis with actionable recommendations
Model & Predict
- Design and analyze incrementality experiments (geo-lift, holdouts, A/B tests) to measure causal impact
- Support attribution modeling efforts to understand customer journey effectiveness
- Build and maintain predictive models using linear/logistic regression and time-series forecasting
Automate & Scale
- Create Python/SQL scripts to automate recurring reports and data pipelines
- Build tools that reduce manual work and improve team efficiency
- Develop QA processes to ensure data quality and consistency
Partner with the Business
- Translate business questions into technical analyses and vice versa
- Present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, Leadership)
- Collaborate with BI, Growth, and Marketing teams to design dashboards and validate metrics
- Proactively surface insights that drive strategic decisions
Share Knowledge
- Document methodologies, analyses, and code for team use
- Train and mentor junior analysts
- Establish best practices for analytical work
What You Bring
Technical Skills (Must Have)
- Advanced SQL: Complex queries, CTEs, window functions, subqueries; experience with data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift)
- Python for Analytics: Pandas, NumPy, data manipulation; visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly); scripting for automation
- Statistical Modeling: Linear/logistic regression, time-series forecasting, hypothesis testing; model validation and diagnostics
- Marketing Analytics: understanding of digital marketing KPIs (CTR, CPC, CVR, ROAS, CAC, LTV); familiarity with ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.)
- Data Visualization: Ability to create clear, compelling charts and dashboards; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar)
Technical Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with incrementality measurement (geo-experiments, holdout tests)
- Familiarity with attribution modeling (MTA, MMM concepts)
- A/B testing and experimental design experience
- E-commerce or DTC analytics background
