For people who love ownership as much as cashback.
Some products quietly sit in a corner.
This one doesn’t.
Our client — a leading financial institution — is looking for a Product Manager who can steer a liability/cashback product that impacts real customers, real money and very real expectations.
You’ll shape the roadmap, guide feature delivery, and keep a colourful cast of stakeholders aligned (marketing, legal, IT… yes, all of them).
If you enjoy turning complexity into clarity — and you’re the type who says “I’ll handle it” before anyone else volunteers — you’ll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and sharpen the product roadmap for liability & cashback: from brand positioning to feature delivery.
- Translate ideas, insights and 10 different stakeholder opinions into concrete requirements and prioritised user stories.
- Energise collaboration between marketing, brand, legal, risk, and IT — without losing the plot or your patience.
- Work closely with feature engineers, analysts and architects to bring new features to life (smoothly, on time, and with fewer surprises).
- Analyze product performance, identify opportunities, and turn them into actionable improvements.
- Prepare clear, strategic materials: dashboards, pitches, go-to-market briefs, impact slides — the works.
- Safeguard regulatory compliance while keeping the customer experience front and centre.
- Represent the product in committees, touchpoints and ad-hoc “can we quickly align?” sessions.
- Keep everyone aligned, informed, and moving forward — even when priorities shift (because they will).
Your Personality
- Solution-driven, constructive, and allergic to overcomplicating things.
- Natural stakeholder whisperer: diplomatic but direct, friendly but firm.
- Strong “I’ll handle it” mentality — not heroic, just reliable.
- Not afraid of technical detail, but also able to zoom out and tell a sharp product story.
- Energetic, communicative and able to get people on board fast.
- Curious, constantly improving, and comfortable saying “I don’t know yet — but I’ll find out.”
- Authentic, honest and dependable: say what you do, do what you say.
Main Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in business, marketing, economics, engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Feature Lead — ideally in financial services, payments, loyalty or regulated markets.
- Experience in branding & marketing, and turning propositions into customer-ready narratives.
- Strong track record in technical delivery: roadmaps, APIs, feature engineering, refinement, sprint follow-up.
- Excellent stakeholder management — especially when juggling legal, risk, IT, marketing and operations.
- Confident with data, KPIs and competitive analysis.
- Clear and effective communicator (NL or FR + English).
- Fluent in agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban).
- Skilled at producing clean, impactful senior-level slide decks.
- Customer-centric mindset balanced with regulatory awareness.
- Bonus: hands-on experience as a feature engineer or in IT delivery teams.
