Senior Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join a high-impact EU-level digital transformation project. The ideal candidate is a senior engineer with strong expertise in distributed digital infrastructures, modern web development frameworks, and cloud-native architectures.

Role Description

You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle- from designing scalable front-end architectures to building secure, efficient back-end systems and APIs.

Main Responsibilities

• Designing and developing front-end architecture and user interfaces
• Developing and maintaining back-end applications and APIs
• Creating and managing servers and databases
• Implementing security and data protection best practices
• Building responsive, cross-platform applications
• Writing clean, maintainable, and functional code
• Leading and supporting technical projects when required

Technical Expertise

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with:

• Front-end: VueJS 3, VueX, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Back-end: Vert.x, Kotlin, Java (>17), Spring Boot (WebFlux), Hibernate
• Collaboration Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Office 365, SharePoint

Minimum 6 years of experience with:

• Architecture & Integration: Microservices, API-driven Development, AS4
• Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Virtuoso Triple Store, OpenSearch
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
• Security & Quality Tools: SAST, DAST, Fortify, SonarQube, Sonatype, Dependency-Track, Maven

Minimum 5 years of experience with:

• Security: OpenID Connect, OAuth2, TLS, Keycloak
• DevOps & Cloud: CI/CD (GitLab), AWS (CodeBuild, Secret Manager, EKS, CloudFront), Terraform

This position is based in Brussels in hybrid mode (50% onsite).

EU citizenship is required to obtain the necessary security clearance.
