Your role
We are looking for a talented Data Scientist/Engineer to join our client's IT&D Data & Analytics Center of Expertise Science Team in the automotive sector. In this role, you will develop and deploy data analytics solutions for Business Units across the organization at a Pan-European level, helping to drive data-informed decision making and innovation in the automotive industry.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Analyzing and preprocessing large datasets using Python and SQL to extract meaningful insights for business units
- Developing and deploying predictive models, recommendation systems, anomaly detection algorithms and optimization scripts using various machine learning models
- Validating and interpreting results using statistical concepts and methodologies to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Creating interactive visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders across the organization
- Implementing end-to-end ML solutions from concept to production using MLOps best practices
- Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (additional degree in Computer Science is a plus)
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist with demonstrated expertise in machine learning modeling with tabular data, time series, and NLP
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience in creating web applications using frameworks like Streamlit or Dash
- Proficiency with the Dataiku DSS Platform, including required certifications: Core Designer Path, Advanced Designer Path, ML Practitioner Path, and Developer Path
- Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse platform and understanding of data architecture principles
- Familiarity with the automotive sector's business practices is highly advantageous
