Veolia Finland is looking for a skilled
Network Engineer
with a strong focus on cybersecurity to join our IT team in Keilaranta, Espoo. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, securing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures that bridge industrial control systems and traditional IT environments, ensuring the protection of company data and systems. You will work closely with colleagues in the Veolia Northern Europe Zone.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting and maintaining LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and firewall infrastructure, managing SD-WAN and VPN connections
- Configuration, upgrading, and documenting network systems
- Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating network issues
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and planning improvements
- Collaborating with the cybersecurity team to develop and enforce security policies
- Supporting Infrastructure and security improvement projects
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience in network engineering and cybersecurity
- Proficiency with network protocols and security tools
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISSP) are highly desirable
- Strong learning and communication skills
- Ability to communicate fluently in Finnish and English
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective, scalable and secure solutions
- Motivation to grow professionally and learn new technologies
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
