Network Engineer - Data Centre
Role overview
You’ll be working as a Network Engineer in a large scale data centre environment. You’ll handle high level operations, support, resiliency, and optimisation across major European sites. You’ll be part of a 35 person Network and Security team with colleagues mainly in France, and others in the UK, Spain, and Germany.
What you’ll be doing
• Providing N3 support across complex data centre networks.
• Managing and troubleshooting DC failovers, outages, and disaster recovery scenarios.
• Working hands on with VXLAN based architectures.
• Supporting Cisco or Arista routing and switching infrastructure.
• Collaborating with a multinational network team on large scale environments.
• Training and mentoring junior engineers.
• Participating in operational improvements and network engineering best practice.
Key skills
• Strong VXLAN experience.
• Cisco or Arista routing and switching.
• Data centre networking exposure.
• Solid experience with DC failovers, outages, and DR processes.
• Level 3 support capability in enterprise or DC networks.
• Experience mentoring or training junior engineers.
Nice to haves
• Python scripting for automation.
• Broader DC tooling exposure.
Contract Details:
Length: 6 Months Initial (longer term extensions available)
Customer Site: Toulouse (3 days on site)
TJM: Negotiable depending on experience
This role is ideal for someone who wants to work on large scale DC environments while taking on high level technical responsibility and contributing to a strong international team.
